Kumanova
The beautiful city, Kumanova, stands out as a golden star
in northeast of Ilirida. Built on the banks of the rivers, Lipkova and Konjare, 340m. above sea level, and surrounded by the, Karadaque Mountains, Gardhishte Mountains, and Mangovica Mountains, it creates timeless grace that blends colour of love perfectly in
harmony with the environment. It is a beautiful city in a beautiful part of Ilirida, and it takes a short trip of 40km from
the capital Shkupi. The city occupies a small area of 1315km²on the coordinates of 42°05'N and 21°40'E. Kumanova hosts aproximately 136 845 people, and the surronding villages
scattered throughout the city bust the population to 158
467 people. It is the third largest city in the country. Kumanova is a multiethnic
city of diversity and tolerance. The Albanian language is mostly spoken among the citizens of Kumanova. However, there are
two official languages in the city, Albanian and Slavic Macedonian language.
